This was such a FANTASTIC scene and I paused after it ended to cheer like an idiot for everyone involved: Sansa for finally able to speak the truth, Margaery for being supportive and genuine, and Olenna FUCKING Tyrell for being too damn awesome for words.
Sophie Turner’s face made me tear up and I just wanted to give Sansa a hug while she was recalling all the horrible things Joffrey has done to her. Still not a big fan of the actress playing Margaery but I like the character so I’m kinda torn! I’ve a feeling she’ll eventually win me over and if she has more scenes like this (and the scene with Joffrey), maybe I’ll grow to enjoy the actress.
Olenna…man oh man. Diana Rigg, I’ve never watched an episode of The Avengers, but, to me, you are perfect. She owned every single second she was onscreen and if it wasn’t obvious enough, Olenna is the true KING in the Tyrell family and in Highgarden. If Margaery turns out as awesome as her grandmother, gods help the Joffrey and the Lannisters.
