50 Girlcrushes of 2013: Shelley Conn
First, let’s take a moment to salute Shelley Conn for playing gay ladies time and again and we should all pitch in and buy her a cake. Although, I thimk a lot of you would agree that getting to make out with Anna Torv is reward enough. Fair point. Her last turn as a gay lady was in this Spring’s comedy Heading Out where she played a woman flirting shamelessly (and hilariously) with Sue Perkins while being in a relationship with Anna Skellern. No, really, how can one actress be this lucky when playing gay ladies? I will admit, however, it was rewatching Nina’s Heavenly Delights that made me fall back in love with her face. Making out with Laura Fraser (another lady we should send a cake to) after all these years is still as delightful as ever. But, seriously, who could really resist this face? It is impossible.
