#I will never be over this scene #not in a million years #I will never be over how Oliver’s face just transforms #and in that moment #he’s just a little boy with his mother again #hoping that he hasn’t let his mother down #that she still loves him #I will NEVER be over what those words must have meant to him #I could not be more proud #she told him #and it was like this weight was just lifted #Moira was such an incredible mother #she had some major faults #but God she was a MOTHER (via rosietwiggs)
#Here’s the difference between Moira and Malcolm#Moira did terrible things#(for the greater good could be implied but sometimes they really were for *her* greater good and that’s a distinction that should not be forgotten)#but she was always given these moments and hints of redemption and humanity#she begs the hood not to kill her for the sake of her children#she reveals malcolms plot to level the Glades at great personal risk#she was also involved in this plot#but hey#again#Moira was always supposed to be morally ambiguous and I really truly love her that way#everything she did always fell in line with one objective: protection#and yeah her ideas of what actually qualified as protection were sketchy five out of seven days of the week#but there was a consistency to her every action#WILL THIS PROTECT MY CHILDREN?#and it came to the point where she literally DIED to protect her daughter#that is who Moira Queen was and that NEVER changed#in life or in death (andyouweremine)
